Senator Kelly Loeffler Will Work to Protect All Innocent Human Lives
WASHINGTON — In the second Georgia Senate debate on Sunday, Senator Kelly Loeffler confronted Democrat Raphael Warnock over his unequivocal belief in abortion on demand.
In response to Sen. Loeffler’s challenge, Warnock replied that he has an “abiding respect for choice.” “Choice” being a term used by the abortion lobby to describe abortion on demand, at any time, and for any reason.
“Raphael Warnock is endorsed by Planned Parenthood, the biggest abortion chain in the country, responsible for the deaths of more than 345,000 unborn babies every year,” said Carol Tobias, president of National Right to Life. “Warnock made it clear in the debate that he would oppose any effort to protect unborn babies at any stage of pregnancy, and he believes Georgians should pay for abortion with their tax dollars.”
What Warnock ignores is the profound impact abortion has on the Black community. While Black Americans represent 32% of the Georgia’s population, they shockingly represent 69% of all abortions. For every 1,000 Black babies born alive in Georgia in 2019, 413 Black babies were killed in an abortion.
Raphael Warnock has also been endorsed by the extreme abortion lobby group NARAL. NARAL has vowed to “work alongside” Warnock in the Senate race in their efforts to advance their extremist agenda of abortion on demand without restrictions.
In contrast, Sen. Loeffler has a perfect 100 percent pro-life voting record. As Senator, she introduced the Woman’s Right to Know Act, a bill that would ensure that a mother has a right to know the facts about her unborn child, and the risks associated with abortion.
Sen. Loeffler cosponsored and voted for the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which would require that a baby born alive during an abortion must be afforded the same degree of care that would apply to any other child at the same gestational age.
Sen. Loeffler also cosponsored and voted for the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, legislation to protect unborn children at 20 weeks, a point by which the unborn child is capable of experiencing great pain when being killed by dismemberment or other late abortion methods.
Sen. Loeffler opposes using tax dollars to pay for abortion and opposes taxpayer funding of abortion providers.
“We need to return pro-life Senator Kelly Loeffler to the Senate so she can continue working with National Right to Life to protect defenseless unborn babies and their mothers from the tragedy of abortion,” said Tobias.
